How do you put this into everyday language? The way Jesus spoke it, the way John saw it and heard it in his heart and wrote it, the way Luke carefully researched it and recounted it for Theopolis, the way Mark networked his personal relationships and saw it from the perspective of a social change, and the way Matthew experienced it from a uniquely Jewish context and reviewed the history through new lens; the gospels.
This is all I’ve done is to look at the Gospels through the lens of an experienced metaphysical perspective, approached from an epistemological lens, and presented a philosophical world and other-worldly view of realities that other humans in our past saw and then recounted in the Spirit for the illumination of all Humankind.
My style is not your preference? Read the Gospels. The Gospels do not speak to you? Try reading different translations of them. None of those work? Read other books that others have written that share the same focus from a different perspective. Don’t like to read? Talk with others who know this God, these facts, this experience and connect with them until something makes sense. Finally, if in all of these there is nothing that works, go to this God directly, and tell Them, the Father, the Savior, the Spirit and wait to hear from One or all of Them, and They will speak, for They know exactly and precisely where you are coming from and are at, and They have not closed any door to those who are truly seeking Them. Or you can go directly to Them first.
There is no reason to wait, to put it off, to let this present awareness and focus and tug to your heart or mind or both pass by, to get lost in the rush of time and space that most often inundates us all. Today is the day, “if you will hear His voice, and do not harden your heart.” Love waits in the next moments, the wind of the Spirit, the living waters, the good bread of the Fathers acceptance and will, the seeing and knowing the realities of Their Kingdom.
It can come as a rush that overwhelms and inundates as years of pain and anguish – questions and wonderings are washed away, or it can come as a seed, an incorruptible seed that is planted in the core of the psyche that lies there germinating as the same time and space move on but now in a different reality, a reality that will take root and grow into a twiglet and then a sapling and then, someday a mighty Tree planted by the rivers of the waters that flow all around us.
Today, if you will hear His voice … ; words have a metaphysical power (there, we are back in my world, my perspective), words we hear and words we speak. The scientists say that the everyday words we have spoken are recorded in the walls around us; how much more will the words seeking and telling of unseen realities resonate down the hallways of time and space. Today is the day to speak and make known the thoughts and intentions of the heart and mind.
