What is it about trees that captures us, evokes us to wonder, even awe?
On a walk around a lake while at a retreat a very wise friend mused out loud ~
"Have you ever noticed that everything Man makes is the same, but that everything God makes is different?"
It was a broad generalization, but that was not the point; there was no point, God was just musing out loud for my benefit & education through my friend.
In ancient culture - a muse was a goddess who presided over art & sciences. Let's muse together as we turn the two dimensions of these images in our minds into the majesty they represent.
Ancient Galleries
We call them cave-paintings, but really ~ they are a Gallery as much as ours are today. We haven't changed . As our technology has evolved to study their technology, there is a depth of medium and expression and use of material and texture that is no less sophisticated than ours.
